White's Delights Story

In 2021, after 20 plus years of working in retail, I decided it was finally time to do something that I loved to do for a living. With much prayer and persuasion from my wife, Nicole, we decided to launch White’s Delights as a small home-based business. Up until that point, the only people that ever had a chance to taste my desserts had been my family. They had been saying for the past several years that I needed to open up a dessert business. In fact, it was my wife’s Aunt Christa who first mentioned “White’s Delights”! It has definitely been a journey that I don’t regret going on and I look forward to making many more memories and satisfied customers!

About the Owners

Hey there! I’m Willie White, owner, baker, and creator of White’s Delights goodies! After graduating Salem High School in 2000, I attended Southwest Baptist University locally for a few years while working retail full time. However, after my dad’s sudden passing in August 2003, my responsibilities shifted to taking care of my mom and being there for her so school was placed on the back burner. I married the love of my life, Nicole, in June 2005. Up until that point I had never done much cooking because growing up my mom always took pride in making sure there was lots of food on the table. After one month of marriage, I quickly realized that unless I wanted to eat spaghetti every night I better learn to cook! So began the love of cooking and baking! For many years I’ve had the desire to attend culinary school and work in the food industry, but being home each night and providing for my family, as well as faith, have always been my top priorities. I’ve been honored to be the worship leader at Grace Community Church in Salem for over 17 years now. Nicole and I have been married since 2005 and are blessed to be able to raise two wonderful sons, Titus and Isaac. We all love getting outdoors and enjoying some of our favorite hobbies such as deer hunting and ATV riding! Thank you for making my dreams become a reality!
